Located at Sankt Eriksplan in Stockholm, Portal Restaurant is a place where gastronomy, craftsmanship and a warm, relaxed atmosphere come together. Since 2016, Portal has been run by chef and restaurateur Klas Lindberg, with a focus on distinct flavours, high-quality Swedish ingredients and an uncomplicated dining experience where quality is always at the heart of everything.

The restaurant’s bright and inviting interior is characterised by natural materials and a refined Scandinavian aesthetic. Wood plays a prominent role throughout the space, contributing to its warm and welcoming atmosphere – a natural setting for Stolab furniture crafted from solid oak.
For Portal, Stolab has supplied the Miss Holly chair and Miss Holly bar stool in solid oak with a natural oil finish, together with the Hundranian chair in solid oak with a natural oil finish and a leather seat. The combination creates a cohesive overall expression, while the distinct character of each chair brings variation to the different areas of the restaurant.

Miss Holly’s soft lines and characteristic backrest come together with solid oak in an expression that feels both contemporary and timeless. By combining the chair and bar stool, the same design language flows naturally across different seating heights and functions throughout the restaurant.
Hundranian complements the interior with its own distinctive character, combining solid oak with a leather seat. The natural materials are designed to age beautifully with use, contributing to a restaurant environment where the furniture is made to be enjoyed – evening after evening, year after year.
Together with Portal’s focus on ingredients, craftsmanship and longevity, the furniture helps create an environment where Swedish gastronomy and Swedish furniture-making tradition come together naturally.
