A workplace with room for connection and relaxation
At Matting, different areas of the workplace have been furnished to suit their distinct functions. For the lunchroom, we supplied Lilla Åland chairs, while the lounge area features Link armchairs – two furniture families with different expressions, united by a shared focus on wood, quality and attention to detail.

A classic around the lunch table
In the lunchroom, Lilla Åland creates a warm and timeless setting. Carl Malmsten’s iconic spindle-back chair combines a light expression with excellent seating comfort, making it well suited to a space used throughout the working day. Matting chose a custom smoked oak stain for their Lilla Åland chairs, adding warmth and character to the lunchroom.

A softer setting for meetings and breaks
In the lounge, the Link armchairs create a more relaxed setting for informal meetings, conversations and moments of pause. Their softer, enveloping expression gives the lounge a distinct character, while maintaining the same sense of quality and materiality found in the lunchroom.
Together, the furniture creates a cohesive workplace where different needs are accommodated – from shared lunches to spontaneous meetings and moments of relaxation.
