Henriette is a classic and comfortable sofa that creates a homely atmosphere in any setting. Elevated seating with long armrests and the right seat height make it easy to sit down and stand up. Removable, washable covers with the option to vary the design using back and side cushions. Also available at 50 cm seat height. From Stolab in Smålandsstenar, Sweden.

The material
Birch – extensive possibilities with surface treatments
Birch is a light wood species with a grain pattern that can range from completely smooth to richly figured. It is one of the most common types of wood in Sweden and is used in nearly all of our furniture collections. Birch is moderately hard and durable, offering extensive possibilities for surface treatments thanks to its smooth, structure-free surface, which makes it ideal for lacquering and painting. More than 75% of our birch comes from Sweden and has grown for 70–80 years before becoming furniture timber.
